Job summary

The On-Site AV Support Specialist at AV-Tech Media Solutions will oversee daily execution and technical support of audiovisual services for the Client, stationed at the Atlanta, GA location. You will support conference rooms, meeting spaces, training programs, events, and integrated AV systems across facilities.

Maintain current AV knowledge, troubleshoot issues, and independently learn new technologies as introduced.

Role: The On-Site AV Support Specialist is responsible for the daily execution and technical support of audiovisual services for the Client. This position provides exceptional customer service while supporting conference rooms, meeting spaces, training programs, events, and integrated AV systems throughout the facilities. The On-Site AV Support Specialist, is expected to maintain a working knowledge of current AV technologies, troubleshoot technical issues, and independently learn and support new technologies as they are introduced.You will be located at the client's Atlanta, GA location, reporting to AV-Tech's Manager – Onsite Services, for all company obligations under the agreement between client and AV-Tech. Your primary responsibilities will be:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Provide outstanding customer service by establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients, facility representatives, company employees, and vendors.
• Support client training programs by serving as an in-room technician and providing technical assistance as needed.
• Setup, test, operate, and tear down audiovisual equipment, including video data display systems, computers, audio systems, web- and videoconference equipment, video switchers, audio processing equipment, microphones, video cameras, digital signage, video walls, and integrated AV systems.
• Provide technical support for Microsoft Teams Rooms, including operation, troubleshooting, and support of meeting controls, cameras, microphones, displays, and conferencing peripherals.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of and the ability to operate ProPresenter, PVP, PowerPoint, Stream Deck, and other presentation and content-management platforms used to support meetings, presentations, events, and live productions.
• Operate and support video wall systems, including content routing, source selection, display configuration, and basic troubleshooting.
• Provide on-call technical support for conference rooms, meeting spaces, and event spaces, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with AV systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms, presentation systems, video walls, and related technology.
• Maintain a working knowledge of current AV technologies, software, and systems used throughout the facilities, with the ability to independently learn, operate, troubleshoot, and support new technologies.
• Conduct periodic inspections of AV equipment and systems to identify needed repairs, replacements, upgrades, or other areas requiring attention.
• Provide weekly written reports documenting work performed, notable technical issues, and other relevant activities, and complete accurate and legible paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.
• Participate in onsite team conference calls, providing updates and contributing to team development and continuous improvement.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures and adhere to company standards.
