Job summary

AVI-SPL is a digital enablement solutions provider that helps customers connect people and technology to elevate experiences. As a Field Service Technician, you will partner with the Global Helpdesk to restore functionality at customer sites and deliver world-class customer service.

You will read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, install control systems, and troubleshoot AV/networked devices. Willingness to travel and train others is required.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and end users.
• Read electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Perform preventative maintenance and field service tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
• Perform preventative maintenance to stabilize client environments.
• Install and configure AV control systems (AMX/Crestron).
• Troubleshoot networked devices and video codecs.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
• Assist higher-level technicians and train junior staff.
