Job summary

Concentric, LLC is seeking an Automation Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize automated systems and industrial equipment across material handling and automation platforms. You will support uptime and efficiency, performing PMs, repairs, and root-cause analyses while coordinating with operations and engineering teams.

You will work on forklifts, conveyors, robotic systems, and related equipment, reporting to a Service Manager.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Automation experience as an Automation Technician or related roles.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting across 480V, 240V, 24V and 48V.
• Experience with 480V, VFDs, relays, motor controls, HMIs, contactors, and servo/drive systems; PLC preference.
• Experience with gear boxes, chains, sprockets, MHE equipment and hydraulics.
• Able to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, hydraulic and pneumatic prints.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Collaborate across diverse teams and remote offices.
• Solid technology, mechanical troubleshooting, plumbing and repair skills.
• Experience with electric forklifts (Crown preferred).
• Must troubleshoot electrical components using diagrams and diagnose offline issues.
• Must provide own hand tools; specialty tools provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on automation equipment.
• Respond to service requests and complete work orders per time standards.
• Be the main contact for customers and coordinate warranty requests.
• Order parts and manage inventory; execute 5S tasks.
• Maintain safe work areas and adhere to safety standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform root-cause analysis.
