Job summary

The Automation Technician will provide technical support for plant manufacturing operations, including programming for new installations, updating existing programs, troubleshooting, calibration of instrumentation, and maintaining software and PLC version control. You will design and implement select capital improvements and train operators in maintenance and process operations.

Day-to-day tasks include upgrading PLC and Wonderware programming, integrating PLCs with the Wonderware SCADA system,

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office and CMMS/SQL databases.
• 3+ years PLC and HMI programming experience.
• Electrical license (Oregon) or higher preferred; Wonderware experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide automation support for plant operations and calibrate instrumentation.
• Program and update PLC/SCADA systems and manage version control.
• Collaborate with IT for PLC/HMI integration and maintain documentation.
