Job summary

Bama is seeking an Automation Technician to provide industrial maintenance and automation support for customer equipment. You will troubleshoot and repair automated, electrical, and mechanical systems while acting as the technical expert on automation maintenance activities.

You will develop and modify screens (RSView/PanelView) and work with PLCs, HMI software, and SCADA to ensure safe, efficient operations. Some travel and on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting and repair of automation and electrical systems.
• Proficient with Allen Bradley PLC systems (PLC5, ControlLogix, SLC).
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automation production systems.
• Setup and teardown automation equipment.
• Maintain electrical and mechanical components.
• Develop screens with RSView and PanelView.
• Work with PLCs, HMI, and SCADA programming.
• Coordinate with teams to complete work orders.
