Job summary

ProSearch Recruiting Partners, an independent MRINetwork franchise, seeks an Automation Systems Installation Coordinator to support on-site projects installing material handling and automation equipment at client locations.

You will coordinate between project teams, remote stakeholders and clients, lead safety and quality efforts, manage schedules, and train external contractors to ensure successful installations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Proficiency in safe rigging practices.
• Familiarity with automated material handling equipment (conveyors, AGVs, AS/RS).
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings.
• Ability to interpret layouts from design drawings.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% domestically and internationally.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor progress of material handling equipment installation at client sites.
• Oversee implementation and training related to automation systems and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management on installation matters.
• Create installation procedures based on expertise.
• Manage external contractors to ensure quality and training.
• Utilize software platforms for project management and installation teams.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to complete project checklists.
• Move materials and coordinate electrical/mechanical work per project needs.
• Develop and maintain installation schedules and participate in meetings.
• Enforce on-site safety protocols to prevent incidents.
