Job summary

ProSearch Recruiting Partners is seeking an Automation Systems Installation Coordinator to support on-site projects focused on installing specialized material handling and automation equipment. The role acts as a central coordinator, facilitating communication between project teams, remote stakeholders, and clients.

The position requires travel up to 90% domestically and internationally, with strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a relevant technical field with significant experience in material handling systems or industrial construction.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with ability to use specialized installation tools.
• Proficiency in safe rigging practices and reading technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Monitors installation progress of material handling automation at client sites and suggests improvements.
• Oversees implementation and training for customized automation systems and procedures.
• Collaborates with engineering and project management on installation matters and reports discrepancies.
• Develops installation procedures and may create them based on expertise.
• Manages external contractors to ensure quality and training.
• Uses software platforms for engineering, project management, and service/installation teams.
• Coordinates with subcontractors to ensure project checklist completion.
• Plans movement of materials, electrical and mechanical work, and QC activities.
• Maintains installation schedules and participates in client/internal meetings.
• Enforces on-site safety protocols to prevent incidents.
