Job summary
Walmart Inc. in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a highly organized, execution-driven Manager, Automation Engineering to lead the implementation and launch of a large-scale automated Walmart warehouse.
This on-site engineering role owns site execution, project management, and operational readiness. You’ll collaborate with construction, operations, Global Tech, automation vendors, and cross-functional teams to solve issues, manage budgets, and ensure quality while driving scalable automation across
Qualifications
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 2 years’ experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area.
- Option 2: 4 years’ experience in engineering, supply chain, or related area.
Responsibilities
- Own on-site implementation and launch for automated warehouse delivery and operational readiness.
- Manages scope, schedule, budget, and quality to track milestones, risks and execution standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams with Operations, construction, Global Tech, vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Interpret drawings, layouts, specifications and engineering documents.
- Support automation systems and build expertise in automation, warehouse, and buildings systems.
- Drive execution excellence by identifying risks, solving problems, maintaining accountability and ensuring quality.
- Communicate updates and maintain alignment throughout implementation and launch.
