This on-site role requires accurate clerical work, verification of benefits, copays, and coordination with front desk staff to move patients smoothly through services.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), CPR within 60 days, and experience with healthcare scheduling and insurance knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• CPR certification within 60 days of employment.
• Experience with healthcare scheduling and insurance knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written English; public speaking ability.
• Ability to work under stress and with others.
• Proficient in word processing and database usage.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance and benefits for surgical cases.
• Call primary and secondary insurers for benefit verification.
• Prepare preregistration packets and update medical records as needed.
• Assist with daily cash handling and payments processing.
• Support front desk and staff for smooth patient flow and transitions.
• Enter information accurately into the admitting/registration system.
