Job summary

First Pointe Management Group is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for a Market Rate 134-unit community in Sacramento, CA. The role requires hands-on leadership, resident relations, and daily on-site management support.

The successful candidate will live on site, coordinate tours, assist with marketing, deliver excellent customer service, and help the Property Manager optimize financial and operational performance across the communities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience as an Assistant Property Manager (Market Rate) at a busy property, preferably with 125+ units.
• Knowledge of and formal training in Fair Housing Rules and Regulations.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with property management software such as Yardi and Rent Café is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining strong relationships with residents, owners, vendors, and team members.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to live on site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive resident relationships and engage prospective residents through marketing and property tours.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support the financial and operational performance of the communities.
• Partner with the Property Manager to ensure smooth daily operations and compliance with policies.
• Assist in coordinating leasing processes and on-site team collaboration.
