Job summary

Alston Construction in Atlanta, GA, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to lead and coordinate the overall management of assigned projects. The role focuses on delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget while strengthening client relationships and the company’s image.

You will review contracts, manage documentation, work with the superintendent, maintain schedules, analyze risks, and prepare reports.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Design-build experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality completion of projects on time and within the allocated budget.
• Perform a qualitative review of all contract documents for potential conflicts or interpretation issues to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
• Ensure proper document control and record keeping, submit close-out documents, including as-built drawing.
• Work with Superintendent to facilitate the project construction process and coordinate staff activities to achieve goals on budget and schedule.
• Create, maintain and monitor a detailed master project schedule and provide timely reports.
• Lead or participate in responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Other related duties.
