Job summary

Alston Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to lead the overall management of assigned projects. The role focuses on safety, on-time delivery, budget adherence, and profitability while fostering client relationships and the company’s image.

Projects are located in Harlingen, TX or Tulsa, OK with on-site work and travel as required. A degree in Construction Management or related field and design-build experience are preferred. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Experience managing construction projects for a general contractor.
• Design-build experience on relevant project types.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate overall management of assigned projects.
• Ensure safety, schedule, budget, and profit goals are met.
• Review contracts, drawings, and submittals for compliance and constructability.
• Maintain document control and close-out documentation.
• Coordinate with Superintendents to align teams and progress.
• Develop and monitor a detailed master project schedule and reporting.
