Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks an Assistant Construction Project Manager to support multiple hyperscale data center projects on a Cartersville, GA campus. You will assist project managers and owners to ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance while delivering high-quality results.

You will help with site logistics, budgeting, RFIs, submittals, and coordination with subcontractors, advancing toward a Project Manager position. Prior data center or large-scale construction exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of construction experience in project engineering, coordination, field engineering, or related roles.
• Experience with large-scale or data center construction projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in planning, execution, and closeout of multiple construction projects.
• Assist with scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to support daily activities.
• Participate in meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder coordination.
• Track procurement, deliveries, and equipment schedules; manage RFIs and submittals.
