United Contractor Services is seeking a Project Manager to own schedules and budgets, serving as the primary contact for clients, architects, and field leadership. This role focuses on coordination, decision-making, and moving multiple projects forward on time and within cost.
You will oversee projects from preconstruction to close-out, maintaining schedules, tracking costs, and driving efficiencies that preserve quality. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
United Contractor Services is a national specialty subcontractor ranked among the Top 50 Walls and Ceilings contractors in North America. We self-perform commercial interior construction across metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, EIFS, stucco, painting, and Division 8 and 10 Specialties. We work in major markets across the country on large-scale projects, and we run our jobs on accountability and straight communication between the office and the field. This position is based out of our headquarters in Kennesaw, GA.
This Project Manager position sits at the center of the job. You own the schedule and the budget, and you're the person clients, architects, field leadership, and other trades come to when they need an answer. It suits someone who is technically strong, comfortable making decisions, and able to keep multiple projects moving at once.
You'll run projects from preconstruction through close-out, building and maintaining the schedule, tracking costs, and finding efficiencies that don't come out of the quality of the work. A large share of the job is coordination - keeping clients and design teams current, resolving conflicts with other trades before they become delays, and making sure your field leadership has what they need to keep crews productive.
The rest of it breaks down like this:
We're after four or more years managing commercial construction projects, with direct experience in drywall and metal framing scopes. Exposure to ceilings, finishes, or Division 8 and 10 work is a plus. We run Procore, On-Screen Takeoff, and QuickBid - if you've worked in other project management, takeoff, or estimating platforms, that background transfers and we'll train you on ours.
Beyond the technical side, we're looking for:
Competitive compensation, a full benefits package, and steady work on significant commercial projects. We promote from within, and project managers here have a clear path into senior PM and operations roles.
