Job summary

Lloyd Companies seeks an Assistant Construction Superintendent to support the daily operations on multi-family and commercial projects. You will read blueprints, monitor quality control, and ensure OSHA safety standards are followed by subcontractors.

You will assist in coordinating subcontractors, tracking schedules and budgets, and resolving conflicts that arise with drawings. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Blueprint reading is essential.
• Knowledge of the construction process required.
• Computer literacy is expected.

• Understanding OSHA requirements is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and scheduling subcontractors to ensure proper work flow.
• Help the Construction Superintendent maintain a clean jobsite by instructing subcontractors.
• Assist in directing subcontractors to work in an efficient and timely manner.
• Help resolve conflicts that arise among blueprints.
• Coordinate deliveries from vendors and suppliers.
• Assist in making sure that project budgets and schedules are met.
• Be capable of working on multiple projects at a time.
• Assist the Construction Superintendent with pricing revisions and change orders.
• Manage stressful situations that arise between subcontractors.
• Conduct yourself with the Lloyd Companies core values in mind.
