Job summary

Lennar is hiring an Assistant Construction Manager in Florida to support supervision of home-building projects from start to finish. The role focuses on coordinating trade partners, maintaining records, and ensuring safety and quality on-site.

The position offers hands-on training, cross-department exposure, and avenues for progression within Construction Management. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in home building/construction preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record and valid auto insurance.
• Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software; ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Construction Managers with supervision of job sites and daily trade partner activities.
• Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and code compliance; keep safety logs and assist in safety meetings.
• Maintain records of job changes (Option Orders, Purchase Orders) and act as secondary approval for trade partner invoices.
• Keep a daily log of site occurrences; support scheduling and coordination with internal teams.
• Assist in resolving issues raised by inspectors and trade partners and communicate with sales and customer care.
