Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC in Chatsworth, CA is seeking an Assembly/Harnessing Technician on first shift to join our SDG manufacturing team onsite. The role reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include high‑reliability soldering, harness assembly, reading drawings, and ES(D) procedures. J‑STD certification and 5+ years in electrical assembly are required. Travel to customer facilities may be needed.

Qualifications

• J-STD solder certification required.
• 5+ years of electrical assembly experience.
• 5+ years of soldering experience.
• Read/interpret engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble high‑reliability chassis and final assemblies using circuit cards, harnesses, solder and crimping.
• Perform high‑reliability soldering and crimping on complex sub‑assemblies and circuit boards.
• Decipher assembly drawings, worksheets and parts lists and follow instructions.
• Follow Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) procedures.
• Perform running harnessing and wiring for motion control mechanisms as needed.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering to diagnose and propose rework for intricate models.
• Work with engineering to improve testing procedures and worksheets.
• Clean components to required cleanliness levels and maintain traceability records.
• Assist with repair units alongside production units.
• Travel to customer facilities and service company hardware if required.
