Job summary

Connectly Recruiting is seeking an Assembly/Harnessing Technician in Chatsworth, CA to join the SDG Manufacturing Assembly and Test team on first shift. This direct hire opportunity offers on-site collaboration under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor.

The role requires J-STD certification and 5+ years of electrical assembly and soldering experience, plus the ability to read engineering drawings and follow ESD procedures. Travel to customer facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
• 5+ years of electrical assembly experience.
• 5+ years of soldering experience.
• Experience reading/ interpreting engineering drawings/blueprints/schematics.
• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (Aerospace, Medical devices, FDA, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble high reliability chassis and final assemblies using circuit cards, stand offs, wire harnesses, solder and crimping, electrical and mechanical instruments.
• Perform high reliability soldering and crimping on complex sub-assemblies, electronic and mechanical assemblies; repair circuit boards, jumper wires, and wire harnesses.
• Decipher and work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, test specifications and other instructions, written or oral.
• Follow Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) procedures.
• May travel to customer facilities and service company hardware.
