Talent Solutions Partners in Chatsworth, CA is seeking an Assembly/Harnessing Technician to join our SDG team on first shift. This on-site, direct-hire role reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and focuses on high-reliability assembly, wiring, and testing.

The candidate must have J-STD certification and 5+ years in electrical assembly and soldering, with experience in regulated environments such as Aerospace or Medical Devices. Some travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• 5+ years of electrical assembly experience.
• 5+ years of soldering experience.
• Experience in highly regulated manufacturing environments (Aerospace, Medical Devices/FDA, etc.) required.
• J-STD solder certification required; NASA Certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assemble high reliability chassis and final assemblies using circuit cards, stand-offs, wire harnesses, solder and crimping, electrical and mechanical instruments.
• Perform high reliability soldering and crimping on complex sub-assemblies, electronic and mechanical assemblies, repair of circuit boards, jumper wires, and wire harnesses.
• Decipher and work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, test specifications, and other instructions, both written and oral.
• Know and follow applicable Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) procedures.
• May travel to customer facilities and service company hardware.
• Work with Product Engineering to diagnose and propose necessary rework on intricate models.
• Collaborate with engineering to innovate testing procedures and improve worksheet processes.
