Job summary

Vertex Service Partners in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Scheduling Specialist for our on-site contact center. You\'ll handle inbound/outbound calls, chats, and emails from warm leads, focusing on converting conversations into qualified appointments for roofing and exterior services.

You’ll perform proactive follow-ups, build rapport with homeowners, and document details in ServiceTitan and Five9. This role offers strong earning potential through base plus commissions, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a call center, customer service, inside sales, or appointment-setting role.
• Strong phone presence with the ability to influence and guide conversations.
• Ability to handle high call volumes with accuracy and professionalism.
• Balance service mindset with performance-driven goals.
• Coachable and motivated by metrics and incentives.
• Experience using CRM and phone systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, chats, and emails from warm leads.
• Convert inquiries into scheduled appointments for home services.
• Proactively follow up with leads to confirm appointments and maximize conversions.
• Build rapport with homeowners and outline next steps clearly.
• Ensure appointments are set with all decision-makers whenever possible.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in CRM (ServiceTitan) and phone system (Five9).
• Meet or exceed performance metrics related to appointment setting and productivity.
• Collaborate with teammates in an on-site call center environment.
• Participate in coaching and training as you ramp up.
• First 30 days: learn business, systems, scripts, and gain confidence handling calls.
• By 60 days: independently set quality appointments with reduced supervision.
• Additional duties as assigned.
