Job summary

Jabil's Prince George, VA facility is seeking an Application Administrator I to support a startup manufacturing large form-factor equipment on-site. You will handle day-to-day administration, monitoring, and maintenance of business applications, assist deployments, user access, and collaborate with IT and business teams.

The role requires an associate degree and 2-5 years of enterprise-app support, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. On-site schedule: Mon-Fri, 8-5.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience supporting enterprise applications.
• Basic understanding of Windows and Linux OS and network fundamentals.
• Experience with ERP/MES/CRM/HRIS or manufacturing apps preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine system administration tasks including user accounts and access control.
• Monitor application health and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Assist deployment, configuration, and testing of new releases and patches.
• Provide first-line user support and document troubleshooting steps.
• Maintain configuration and operational documentation.
• Collaborate with senior admins and development teams on complex issues.
• Understand business requirements and improve application usage.
• Conduct scheduled backups and data integrity checks.
• Follow IT security policies and best practices.
