Job summary

Blue Ridge Apartments seeks a Maintenance Technician to support move-ins, resident satisfaction, and timely service responses. The role requires practical skills in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance across apartment communities.

You will handle make-ready tasks, respond to resident requests, and maintain grounds and amenities. A valid driver’s license and 1+ year of related experience are preferred; on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school required.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Valid Driver's license.
• EPA 608 Type II certification and CPO or local city certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare make-ready apartments (painting, carpet, cleaning, basic repairs).
• Respond to resident requests promptly and professionally.
• Provide maintenance support for grounds, pools, and common areas.
• On-call scheduling may be required for after-hours emergencies.
• Report maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform maintenance tasks as scheduled and follow safety procedures.
