Job summary

Bender Companies is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician for the Mount Prospect property. This full-time position requires hands-on maintenance work, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced team environment.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ year experience in apartment maintenance or related fields, and be prepared for an on-site schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Pay ranges from $24 to $26 per hour with company benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in apartment maintenance, facilities, or residential construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine property inspections and address maintenance issues proactively.
• Complete resident service requests and work orders promptly and professionally.
• Maintain property grounds and assist in unit turnovers and make-readies.
• Support preventative maintenance to extend life of systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Communicate with residents and management; participate in on-call after-hours maintenance.
