Job summary

AIR Communities in Raleigh, NC, is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our community. You will oversee vendor relationships, preventive maintenance, and resident service requests while driving quality and safety standards.

We offer a competitive pay range of $75,000–$85,000 with a 15% target bonus, plus monthly CSAT bonuses up to $250 and an on-site apartment discount. Eligible benefits include health, retirement, PTO, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of technical maintenance and facilities management experience.
• Experience leading a team of 1+ direct reports.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Reliable mode of transportation.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 1+ direct reports.
• Provide exemplary service to residents and team members.
• Manage all aspects of property maintenance including vendors and preventive maintenance.
• Communicate maintenance needs to management and ensure action.
• Manage budget to maximize ROI while upholding quality and service.
• Ensure compliance with AIR procedures and EH&S.
