Job summary

AIR Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to work onsite at our Raleigh, NC apartment community. You will provide responsive maintenance, assist residents, and help ready units for move-ins using AIR’s modern systems.

We offer an hourly wage of $22.00–$26.00, quarterly bonuses up to $250, a 50% rent discount, and clear paths for career growth among comprehensive benefits. Flexibility and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience in facilities or building environments.
• Proficient in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, carpentry).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Must have reliable transportation and ability to respond to emergencies.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent resident service and assist team members.
• Complete apartment turns and basic repairs per AIR processes.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Potentially train other maintenance technicians.
• May assist with vendor management and move-in/move-out inspections.
