The position requires strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and solid communication skills. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in accounting and 2+ years of AP experience, with proficiency in 10-key data entry and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in accounting preferred.
• Two years of accounting or accounts payable experience required.
• Proficiency in 10-key data entry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Manage the AP mailbox and respond to inquiries.
• Verify general ledger coding, approvals and backup on invoices.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable.
