Job summary

Canvas Inc. seeks an AMSC Test Analyst to support the Air Force at Arnold AFB, TN. You will perform engineering analysis, data collection, and modeling across EO/IR and signature domains, tailoring tools to project needs.

Work with a small team on field data collection, data processing, and model inputs for missile systems. A clearance is desirable; willingness to work extended hours as test schedules dictate is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics or engineering from an accredited school.
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Python and MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis and modeling across EO/IR, missile plume, propulsion, and signatures.
• Deploy with a small team, collecting signature data in the field for 1–2 weeks.
• Perform data extraction, metadata consolidation, and data processing to support deliverables.
• Use and support government or in-house toolsets to process data.
• Prepare inputs for models/simulations and run analyses to predict signatures.
• Compare simulation results with data.
• Document data processing, analysis, and software usage.
• Balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Other duties as assigned.
