Job summary

ABX Air is seeking an Airworthiness Directive (AD) Compliance Specialist to evaluate and oversee ADs and other regulatory requirements for a Part 121 carrier. You will set up AD tracking in MXI, identify hazards, and perform risk assessments to drive corrective actions.

You will support the Internal Evaluation Department, conduct internal and external audits, and participate in CASS and RCRB meetings to ensure compliance with CFR 121 and FAA regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A&P license or 5 years equivalent airworthiness directive experience.
• Multiple years of maintenance work on Part 121 or military aircraft; a 2-year degree may substitute.
• Working knowledge of CFR 121 and FAA regulations.
• Experience with manuals/service bulletins/Maintenance Manuals.

Responsibilities

• Check the FAA registry daily for NPRMs (upcoming ADs).
• Develop AD-related reference documents in MXI.
• Assist Engineering with AD-related tasks.
• Assist Maintenance Programs with AD-related tasks.
• Manage Regulatory Compliance and Review Board (RCRB) and CASS meetings for FAA compliance.
• Assist QC with internal and external audits.
• Perform paperwork review for aircraft maintenance departments.
