Job summary

J. A. Watts, LLC (JWI) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale airport project at ORD. You will coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure quality throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires 5–10 years of airport project experience, PMP or PMI certification preferred, and on-site work five days a week at ORD with badge eligibility. This is a high-impact leadership role in a family-oriented firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering or equivalent work experience.
• PM certification (PMP, PMI) preferred; EIT or PE encouraged.
• 5–10 years of airport project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team through full project lifecycle from concept to closeout.
• Coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors to resolve issues.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and staffing to protect company interests.
• Ensure on-time, within-budget project deliverables and quality standards.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate risk and ensure project success.
