This 100% on-site role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience with aircraft structures, blueprints, precision drilling and measurement, metallic and composite components, fastener installation, structural modifications, and maintenance documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Aircraft Mechanic experience in commercial or defense aviation.
• 3+ years reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Ability to perform close-tolerance drilling within .003 inch and precision measurement within .003 inch.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul structures for P-8 aircraft in an aviation maintenance environment.
• Perform structural repairs and modifications on military and derivative aircraft and flight control components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Identify, remove, and install aircraft fasteners including rivets, screws, Hi-Loks, bolts, and lock bolts.
• Fabricate, locate, trim, drill, ream, and assemble metallic and composite components.
• Perform major and minor modifications to aircraft skins and structures.
• Use precision measuring tools to perform close-tolerance drilling and measurement.
• Follow Airworthiness Directives, Technical Directives, and Service Bulletins.
