PDS Defense, Inc. seeks an FAA Structures Aviation Mechanic in Mobile, AL. You will disassemble, inspect, repair, and test aircraft components per FAA requirements and manufacturer data, with safety as a priority. The role requires documenting work and maintaining airworthiness in a fast-paced shop.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience, an FAA Airframe & Powerplant background is a plus, and familiarity with structural tasks and painting is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; A&P/FAA structures training a plus.
• Experience with aircraft component repairs and overhaul desired.
• Familiar with turbo prop aircraft is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair and test aircraft components per manuals and FAA.
• Maintain safety and airworthiness; follow safety data and procedures.
• Record maintenance data accurately on forms and documents.
• Use proper tools; ensure tooling is calibrated and serviceable.
• Follow FAA data and good workmanship standards; keep work area clean.
