Job summary

VP Aviation is seeking Structures Mechanics for contract opportunities to perform heavy maintenance on a variety of commercial aircraft. The role pays $1,280.00 per week for 40 hours, not including overtime.

Candidates with prior MRO experience in Lake City, FL; Jacksonville, FL; or Greensboro, NC are preferred. Must supply own tools and be able to pass a drug screen and background check. This contract position involves fabricating, repairing, and rebuilding aircraft structures per manuals.

Qualifications

• 2+ years aircraft maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints and drawings.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must have own tools and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, repair, replace and rebuild aircraft structures.
• Repair parts with special tools per procedures and manuals.
• Record work performed and ensure compliance with maintenance standards.
