Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking Aircraft Maintenance Technicians at the East Alton, IL site. The role covers hands-on mechanical work on aircraft and systems, including removal/installation, troubleshooting, defueling, engine work, and GSE operation.

Strong English communication and FAA licenses are required, with progression from AMT I to AMT IV based on experience. Benefits start on day one with a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license is required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0-2 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT I; 2-4 years for AMT II; 4-6+ for AMT III; 6+ for AMT IV.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues.
• Defuel aircraft and assist in engine removal/installations.
• Operate ground support equipment and perform aircraft movement tasks.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; assist with performance runs.
