Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Bombardier Aircraft Maintenance Technician - 1017 in East Alton, IL. This full-time, on-site role supports maintenance on corporate aircraft, requiring Airframe and/or Powerplant licenses and experience levels from AMT I to IV.

The position emphasizes rigorous troubleshooting, panel work, and in-depth aircraft systems knowledge. Compensation includes competitive hourly pay, benefits starting day one, and opportunities for advancement within a diverse MRO

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0-2 years aviation maintenance experience for AMT I; 2-4 years for AMT II; 4-6+ years for AMT III; 6+ years for AMT IV (Master).

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues.
• De-fuel aircraft and assist engine removals/installs.
• Move aircraft and assist with performance runs and taxiing.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Navigate maintenance data bases and manuals using basic computer skills.
