Job summary
Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. (GES) has an immediate opening for a part-time Air Quality/Environmental Engineer/Scientist/Specialist to support the APG Environmental Program on-site in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The role emphasizes Title V permitting compliance and requires a strong regulatory background.
Background checks are required for access to DoD installations. The position supports up to 30 hours per week with responsibilities including meetings, inspections, reporting,
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or Environmental Sciences with ≥5 years Title V permitting experience.
- Experience at APG with CAC is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical support to the APG Environmental Program.
- Attend bi-weekly and quarterly Air Subcommittee Meetings at APG.
- Prepare bi-weekly agendas and progress reporting.
- Perform routine inspections at APG locations.
- Maintain organized administrative records.
- Multitask and prioritize workload.
- Communicate with project stakeholders, including Environmental Compliance Branch.
- Assist in engineering studies, investigations and issue identifications.
- Assist COR with Title V permitting for multiple base operations.
