Job summary

Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. (GES) seeks a full-time Air Quality/Environmental Engineer/Scientist/Specialist to support the APG Environmental Program on-site in Aberdeen, MD, working up to 30 hours per week as a civilian contractor.

The role emphasizes Title V permitting and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include technical support, meetings, inspections, reporting, and coordination with the Environmental Compliance Branch to ensure regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

Strong working knowledge of air quality regulatory permitting and compliance requirements, with emphasis on Title V Operating permits.
Experience with APG or similar DoD installations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive technical support to the APG Environmental Program.
Attend bi-weekly and quarterly Air Subcommittee Meetings at APG.
Prepare bi-weekly agendas and progress reporting.
Perform routine inspections at APG locations.
Maintain organized administrative records.
Multitask and prioritize workload.
Communicate with project stakeholders, including the Environmental Compliance Branch on base.
Assist in engineering studies and issue identification.
