Job summary

Hedgineer is seeking an experienced professional in New York to sit on-site with client teams, map workflows, and identify leading AI leverage opportunities. You will help build production AI workflows across research synthesis, IR automation, ops reconciliation, risk reporting, and more.

Collaborating with our engineering group, you will translate domain knowledge into actionable skills, agents, and connectors, and provide daily structured product feedback as a power user.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6+ years in equity/credit research or related roles at a hedge fund or asset manager.
• Deep fluency in the day-to-day workflows of your domain (research, LP-facing IR, middle/back office, or risk).
• Active daily user of AI tools with real integration into how you work.
• Comfortable with SQL and Python, or able to reason clearly about data, APIs, and how a skill or agent is constructed.

Responsibilities

• Sit on-site with client teams to map workflows and identify where AI creates leverage.
• Build production AI workflows inside the client's environment — research synthesis, IR automation, ops reconciliation, risk reporting, and more
• Translate domain knowledge into skills, agents, and connectors with our engineering team
• Drive structured product feedback as a daily platform power user
