Job summary

Toledo-Regional-Chamber-of-Commerc seeks an Accounting Specialist to handle daily accounting tasks including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliations, while managing the service ticketing system with the external technology partner.

This local role serves Northwest Ohio and cannot be performed remotely, reporting to the Vice President, Finance. Applicants should be accurate, organized, and proficient with Microsoft Office 365; Sage Intacct experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable activity.
• Post or synchronize daily general ledger entries from subsystems to Sage Intacct.
• Organize support documentation for the billing of grants in compliance with grant requirements.
• Prepare operating bank account reconciliation.
• Assist with monthly journal entries.
• Maintain/update fixed asset records, reconcile to the G/L, and prepare annual schedules.
• Assist with the independent financial audit by providing appropriate information as required.
• Coordinate and monitor open tickets with the external technology partner
• Assist in other Chamber activities as directed by the Vice President, Finance

Responsibilities

• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Post daily GL entries to Sage Intacct as applicable.
• Support grant billing documentation and reconciliation.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with monthly closes.
• Assist with annual asset schedules and journal entries.
• Support external audit by providing requested information.
• Coordinate IT tickets with the external partner.
• Assist in other chamber activities as directed by Finance VP.
