TriMas Company LLC is seeking an Accounting Specialist for an on-site role in Bloomfield Hills, MI. The position involves handling accounts payable, month-end close, journal entries, and intercompany transactions within a collaborative finance team.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 1–2 years of related experience, and strong Excel/Adobe Acrobat skills. On-site work five days a week is required at the Bloomfield Hills location.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 1–2 years of related experience.
• Strong Excel and Adobe Acrobat skills are required.
• Familiarity with GAAP and general ledger processes is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and the month-end close.
• Enter, code, and approve vendor invoices from multiple channels.
• Prepare and post journal entries in the GL system.
• Maintain vendor files and vendor 1099s preparation.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and depreciation tracking.
• Support monthly spend requests and intercompany postings.
