Job summary

Purple Wave Auction seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to lead a 4-person team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment at our Manhattan, KS office. You will supervise daily processing and contribute to accurate financial reporting, coordinating with the Controller and cross-functional partners.

GAAP expertise, hands-on leadership, and proficiency with Sage Intacct or NetSuite. You will own month-end closes, prepare statements, support treasury, improve processes, and strengthen internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 6+ years progressive accounting experience, with 2+ in supervision.
• Strong month-end/quarter-end close and financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting software (Sage Intacct, NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily high-volume transaction processing.
• Supervise accounts payable/receivable; supplier settlements & reconciliations.
• Lead month-end/quarter-end close and financial reporting.
• Prepare journals and support treasury activities.
• Improve processes and strengthen internal controls; assist audits.
• Collaborate across Sales, Customer Service, Product and Technology.
