Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
• Analytical skills to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Hands-on experience with journal entries, general ledger, and period-end close.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Union and certified payroll experience preferred.
• Experience managing fixed assets, including depreciation and reconciliations.
• Leadership experience in accounting, preferably in construction or project-based settings.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements and related disclosures.
• Supervise journal entries and general ledger activities; manage fixed assets and reconciliations.
• Monitor cash flow, support budgeting/forecasting, and track job costs and contract compliance.
• Mentor accounting staff, enforce internal controls, and support audits.
