M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Finance professional to support multi-million, multi-year construction projects from Virginia operations.

The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, with responsibilities spanning procurement planning, WBS maintenance, and monthly billing accuracy. You will collaborate with project teams to monitor variances, analyze costs, and ensure cash-positive project execution while maintaining compliant procurement plans and monthly financial forms for

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Attention to detail in completing work tasks.

Mansioni

Develop budgets and manpower forecasts for multi-year construction projects.
Perform budget-to-actual analyses weekly and identify variances.
Establish cash flow forecasts and ensure the project stays cash-positive.
Adjust forecasts as needed.
Prepare accurate monthly cost-plus billing submissions.
Lead procurement planning and develop a detailed procurement plan for the project.
Coordinate with project management to ensure compliance and logistics in the plan.
Procure the job before 20% completion.
Analyze monthly actuals vs plan and justify adjustments.
Assist in establishing and maintaining the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Assist with monthly financial forms and variance explanations.
