Job summary

Hunt is seeking an Accounting Intern for an on-site internship from October 2026 to April 2027 in Wisconsin. You will assist with fixed assets data entry, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly close activities, gaining exposure to diverse accounting processes.

You will work with the team to prepare reports, enhance understanding of agreements, and support ad hoc projects while developing Excel and MS Office skills in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Accounting major from an accredited university with anticipated graduation August 2027 or later.
• Major GPA of 3.7 required.
• Strong accounting knowledge and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Enters data for fixed assets.
• Reconciles bank transactions.
• Obtains documentation to prepare and enter journal entries.
• Runs reports for internal and external use.
• Assists with monthly accounting close checklists.
• Performs monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Assists with accrual entries.
• Summarizes relevant agreements.
