Job summary

University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach on-site at CSM La Plata, MD for the Accounting program. Specifically, we need instructors for Principles of Accounting I (ACCT 220), II (ACCT 221), and Accounting Information Systems (ACCT 326).

Candidates should hold a Master’s degree in Accounting or related field, with professional experience; CPA, CIA, CISA, or CFE certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage students through frequent interaction and motivate learning
• Guide students in collaborative and project-based learning
• Provide constructive feedback using rubrics for assessment
• Demonstrate current subject-matter expertise and connect concepts across the program
• Provide curricular feedback to program chair
