FJ Management seeks an Accountant to maintain general ledger records, perform reconciliations, and assist in financial statement preparation to ensure accurate GAAP-compliant reporting. The role also provides backup support for accounts payable and related tasks.

You will handle journal entries, reconcile accounts, and help close processes each month, with a focus on accuracy and internal control compliance in a on-site Salt Lake City setting.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• Typically 0 – 2+ years of relevant accounting or general ledger experience.

Mansioni

• Prepares and posts journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation.
• Maintains general ledger accuracy and ensures transactions are recorded timely and in accordance with GAAP.
• Assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Performs monthly bank account reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Maintains depreciation schedules and posts depreciation entries.
• Prepares sales and use tax returns and reconciles related liability accounts.
• Supports annual budgets and audit requests.
• Provides backup support for accounts payable and other accounting functions.
