Job summary

Weidmann Electrical Technology AG in Urbana, OH is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a 3rd shift role (Sun–Thu, 11pm–7am). You will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial equipment and electrical systems to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in manufacturing, strong electrical and mechanical repair skills, and welding (MIG/TIG) proficiency, with ability to read schematics and PLCs. We offer a signing bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Strong experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
Welding (MIG and TIG) expertise.
Experience with 480V 3-phase systems and PLCs.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and electrical systems.
Diagnose and repair 480V three-phase systems, motors, controls, sensors and PLCs.
Welding and fabrication to support repairs and reliability improvements.
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical/mechanical drawings.
Collaborate with Maintenance and Production to resolve issues and improve reliability.
Perform preventive maintenance and safety procedures.
