Job summary

Rittal LLC in Urbana, OH is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and facility systems, supporting safe and efficient plant operations. You will participate in preventive maintenance, contribute to continuous improvement, and help ensure equipment reliability across the facility.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum one year of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems preferred.
Experience operating maintenance and fabrication equipment preferred.
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment, including conveyors, compressors, motors, and pumps.
Complete corrective maintenance work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
Set up and operate welders, drill presses, grinders, hand tools, and other metalworking equipment.
Operate mobile equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and articulating boom lifts.
Support and participate in plant safety, health, and environmental programs.
Maintain professional conduct while carrying a company phone during work hours.
Promote 5S workplace organization standards throughout the facility.
Assist in preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
