Job summary

Intertek is seeking a 3 D Laser Scan Technician to join our Industry Services team in Houston, TX. The role travels to client sites to perform inspections, providing dimensional control and laser scanning support as part of a survey team.

Expect a schedule from 8 am to 5 pm CST, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO and tuition reimbursement. Strong outside work readiness and travel is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willing to travel to client sites.
• Able to work outdoors and at heights.
• Experience with laser scanning equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate within a survey team with minimal supervision.
• Perform dimensional control and laser scanning tasks.
• Prepare scans for site registration.
• Train and assess trainees.
• Perform and check scan data.
• Direct small and large scan projects.
• Liaise with client representatives and draft reports.
