Job summary

The Miller Clapperton Partnership is seeking a Field Measuring Technician to capture precise field data using 3D laser scanning and on-site verification. You will document measurements, communicate findings to project teams, and interact professionally with clients throughout the scanning process.

Travel to job sites is frequent, with flexible hours to meet project demands. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required, along with strong communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency required.
  • Confidence in interacting with employees, clients, and external partners.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow complex instructions.
  • Willingness to cross-train with other company segments, including field operations and production.
  • Physically able to work on commercial job sites, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and other physical activities.
  • Ability to work at heights, including on platforms, aerial lifts, and personnel hoists (training provided).
  • Flexibility to adjust work hours outside of the typical 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. schedule to meet project or client needs.
  • Availability for evening, weekend, and out-of-state travel by car or plane as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; must be at least 18 years old.
