Job summary

Martin Concrete Construction is seeking a 3D BIM Modeler to join a structured, growth-minded team. You will develop and update 3D BIM models for concrete projects, focusing on formwork, reinforcement, and placement to support field execution.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors, perform clash detection, and prepare BIM documentation. Proficiency in Tekla, SketchUp, Revit, and AutoCAD is required, along with the ability to travel to project sites across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Tekla, SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, etc.).
• Strong understanding of concrete construction methods and industry standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to exert 25-50 pounds of force occasionally and travel.
• Current driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update 3D BIM models for concrete construction projects.
• Create and manage detailed models for formwork, reinforcement, and placement.
• Prepare BIM documentation, including drawings, schedules, and reports.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate project information.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve conflicts between building systems.
• Utilize BIM software (Tekla, SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, etc.) for project visualization and planning.
• Provide technical support and training on BIM processes and tools.
